The Littlest Pumpkin in the Pumpkin Patch

A rousing musical celebration of America from John Smith to the present day, this overview of American history re-creates the various eras that were crucial to our nation’s evolution into adulthood. We have heard from many teachers that this full-fledged musical is an audience-pleasing teaching tool as it focuses on the meaning of democracy (“Are You for Independence?”; “That’s What it Means to Be Free”), the entrepreneurial spirit (“Inventors Song”), and living history (“Goin’ West”; “Unknown Bugle Boy”; “New Deal”). Our teachers also report back to us that they consider this musical a civics lesson set to wonderful music!

The Parade of the Easter Bunnies

The great music festival....for all of the musical bunnies! From Our Young Children's Theatre: A collection of simple mini play-kits with music. Each mini play is self contained, teaches basic concepts, and has parts for many students.

Patrick Muldoon and His Magic Balloon

We often get “sentimental” requests for this 30-minute musical from grown-ups who remember falling in love with it when they were children. This musical journey through our wondrous world and all of its different customs and traditions is led by Patrick Muldoon and Barney Balloon as they take youngsters to Africa (“Happy Hippopotamus”), Egypt (“Who Knows What the Sphinx Thinks”) and Japan (“Cherry Blossom Song”). There is an alternate version of this story that is sung by the Irish-American singer Carmel Quinn, who has appeared on Broadway, television and radio since coming to America in 1954; American audiences fell in love with her, and it is this version that our most sentimental customers request.

The Princess and the Frog

Perfect for any time of year, this wonderful mini-musical is ideal for your students’ first experience on stage: everyone in the kingdom is a story-teller including the Witches, Frogs, The Royal Family, the Palace Maids and all the Storybook Characters. The very popular songs in this musical re-telling of the storybook classic include “The Bird in the Happiness Tree,” “Chinese Fortune Cookie Song,” “A Frog Song,” and “We are Witches Three.”
